Hey, I'm Dan. I co-founded Inngest in 2021 and spent the last several years as CTO leading product, technical and growth functions at the company. I'm passionate about developer tools, software architecture, and more recently agentic system architecture. Lately, I'm most interested in the space of deploying reliable, observable, and secure AI products. Earlier in my career, I was CTO at Buffer and I created the open source developer tool MailDev (⭐︎6k+) that I still maintain over a decade later.

Outside of work, I love working to restore my 100+ year old craftsman bungalow, from restoring old windows, doing electrical work, to refinishing wood doors and trim. I mentor my nephew's robotics team and also love biking, hiking, and camping.
